Millet Waffle Recipe

Full of nutrients morning waffles loaded with millet flour and chia seeds and simple ingredients!
I started recently using millet flour and I loved its taste so since i love waffles I had to try a millet waffle recipe!

Millet Waffle Recipe


Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/2cup millet flour(coconut flour)
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • ½ tablespoon coconut sugar
  • ½ tablespoon baking powder
  • Small pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons warm water or more
  • ⅔ cup hemp milk( or almond or oat)
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


How to make Millet Waffle Recipe:

  1. Mix chia seeds, millet, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt until a fine powder forms - it will look like regular flour when you're done.
  2. Add the coconut oil, water, milk, orange juice, and vanilla and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter on your waffle iron, and cook according to waffle iron instructions.
  4. enjoy with maple syrup or date syrup and loads of freshly picked strawberries!
