Millet Waffle Recipe
Full of nutrients morning waffles loaded with millet flour and chia seeds and simple ingredients!
I started recently using millet flour and I loved its taste so since i love waffles I had to try a millet waffle recipe!
Ingredients :
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2cup millet flour(coconut flour)
- 1 cup oat flour
- ½ tablespoon coconut sugar
- ½ tablespoon baking powder
- Small pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
- 3 tablespoons warm water or more
- ⅔ cup hemp milk( or almond or oat)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make Millet Waffle Recipe:
- Mix chia seeds, millet, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt until a fine powder forms - it will look like regular flour when you're done.
- Add the coconut oil, water, milk, orange juice, and vanilla and blend until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter on your waffle iron, and cook according to waffle iron instructions.
- enjoy with maple syrup or date syrup and loads of freshly picked strawberries!
